Welcome to Economics at Collierville High School! This web site is designed to introduce you to my classes and to provide you with some online resources. Be careful with the course you select. There are significant differences between the courses listed here. Within each course section you will find announcements, assignments, projects, class notes, etc. The Standard Economics section provides you with announcements, assignments, course outline, chapter notes, projects, etc. for the regular economics class that is required for graduation. The AP Economics section provides valuable information on the AP Macroeconomics and Microeconomics courses. AP Macroeconomics can be taken to satisfy your economics requirement for graduation. AP Microeconomics is an elective and can be taken after completing the AP Macroeconomics course described above. Included are a syllabus, assignments, important dates, and links to web-based resources. The Personal Finance section describes the newest course being offered at Collierville High School. Even if you are not signed up for the course, you may want to look a the information provided here. This material may be required for graduation in the near future. Until then, I promise that everyone would benefit from learning the skills presented here. The Economic Links section provides you with some valuable online resources about Economics and other related topics.
